Ko wai tātou | Who we are

PURPOSE

We provide safe, supportive environments that strengthen youth wellbeing and promote positive youth development.

MISSION

Creating positive ripples of positive change, one rangatahi at a time

WHAT WE DO

We work with rangatahi aged 10–24 from Ranfurly through to Millers Flat, supporting them to thrive, grow, and find their place in the world. Our youth development mahi happens across three main dimensions:

Mentoring – One-on-one or group mentoring where we build relationships, set goals, and help young people explore their strengths and passions.

Drop-ins – Casual programmes and activities where young people can connect, have fun, and try new things in a safe and supportive space.

Youth Programmes & Activities – Structured programmes designed to challenge, inspire, and equip rangatahi with skills for life, all tailored to their energy, strengths, and interests.

Everything we do is strengths-based, youth-led, and guided by Te Whare Tapa Whā, our Youth Work Code of Ethics, and Mana Taiohi. We focus on creating spaces where curiosity, creativity, and confidence can grow, helping young people not just survive—but truly thrive.

Our commitment to supporting rangatahi is guided by strong values, transparency, and accountability. In our Key Documents section, you’ll find important information about how we work, and the policies and reports that help shape our mahi.
